Crye Precision Shirt,Field, Army Custom GWOT Ghillie Suit Modified MDR. This is a GWOT era field modified Crye Precision Shirt,Field, Army Custom. This mod has made this into a Ghillie suit top, its unclear if this was done at sniper school or in Country. I lean toward an in Country modification, because of the use of a sewing machine, probably at tailor done at one of the larger bases. They had the chest pockets removed, heavy canvas sliders installed on the chests, inside map pockets put on the inside, they seem to be crye pop-tart pockets, and netting sew all over the back and shoulder areas. Doesn’t seem to have had any camouflage attached to it. You could write any story, did this guy wash out of sniper school before finishing this? Did his tour end before finishing? Did something happen to him before he could finish? Either way this is a one of a kind GWOT piece of history! No size label but measures as a medium-regular. Please see photos.
